Liz joined the Department of Animal and Dairy Sciences as a Master’s student in the fall of 2023 and defended her thesis in 2025. Her research was focused on dairy cattle dry-off in automated milking systems (AMS). She was co-advised by Dr. Van Os and Dr. Kate Creutzinger (University of Vermont). Liz grew up just outside of Madison in Brodhead, WI. She earned her B.S. in Agriculture and Technology education from UW-Platteville in the spring of 2022.
