Kim Reuscher
Dairy Science PhD student, Van Os lab (former)
Dr. Reuscher joined the Van Os lab as a Masters student in the fall of 2018. She transitioned to the PhD program at the end of 2019 and defended her PhD in spring 2023. For her dissertation, she conducted experiments investigating interactions between social contact and thermal stress (heat and cold stress) in pair-housed calves, as well as studies on adult-cow ventilation and heat abatement strategies. After graduation, Dr. Reuscher spent 2 years as an assistant professor at Tennessee State University, Knoxville. She is now an assistant professor at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX.
