Kim Reuscher
Dairy Science PhD student, Van Os lab (former)
Dr. Reuscher joined the Van Os lab as a Masters student in the fall of 2018. She transitioned to the PhD program at the end of 2019 and defended her PhD in spring 2023. From 2019-2020, she conducted experiments investigating interactions between social contact and thermal stress (heat and cold stress) in pair-housed calves. From 2021-2021, she conducted studies on adult-cow ventilation and heat abatement strategies. She is now an assistant professor at Tennessee State University, Knoxville.
